Extremadura Tour 2018.

Granada Wildlifes tour of the Doñana and Extremadura from 28th April to the 5th May 2018.

The price for this tour will be €1300 per-person with the maximum number of guests being seven. There is a single room supplement of €130 per-person.

This 8 day / 7 night tour will target birds in the main but we will also be looking for wild flowers, orchids, butterflies, dragonflies and mammals as we visit some interesting and beautiful sites in both of these well known areas.

Basic Itinerary.

Day one, Saturday 28th April.
Pick up at either Malaga or Sevilla Airports. If it is Malaga then we will head along the motorways towards Sevilla Airport for afternoon pick ups. If you come into Sevilla then we will head straight into the Doñana.

Day Two, Sunday 29th April.
Donana, to include the central Visitor centre and Lagoons.

Day Three, Monday 30th April.
Donana, El Rocio and Visitor centres down to the coast.

Day Four, Tuesday 1st May.
Woodlands to the north of Doñana and drive to Truillo in Extremadura. After we check in at the hotel a drive out on to the Belen Plain for Bustards and Raptors.

Day Five, Wednesday 2th May.
Monfrague Castle and river Valleys near by.

Day Six, Thursday 3th May.
Caceres plains and some woodlands nearby in the morning and Monroy area in the afternoon.

Day Severn, Friday 4th May.
Northern Monfrague and Embalses in the area for some more water species.

Day Eight, Saturday 5th May.
Travelling back to either Malaga or Sevilla birding on the way if time allows.

Including in the price of €1300 is collection and return to which ever Airport is picked, all transport costs (in 9 seater minibus) during the tour, seven nights accommodation (two persons sharing) with breakfast and at least a two course evening meal (either at the hotel we are staying at or in a bar or restaurant) a species check list, all guiding fees and 21% IVB (VAT), Single room supplement €130:00. All prices based on 6 person’s minimum on the tour.

Not included in the price are lunch time meals, drinks (unless included in the evening meal price by hotel) and snacks, travel insurance, flights to and from Spain and any purchases of a personal nature.
